ArcadeExchange.com, a banner exchange service for english language arcade websites, has been sold for $500. This is the second arcade website banner exchange to sell in as many months. Klixe.com was sold last month as we reported here.

The website has experienced fairly good growth with its founding owner and was sold so that the websites original creator can focus on a new project.

ArcadeResources.net spoke briefly with the buyer, while the sale was private we can tell you that the buyer owns a few of his own arcade websites. When asked about any plans for changes or upgrades the new owner told us he plans on upgrading the dedicated server to better handle the growing exchanges and that the service will stay focused on English language quality traffic, at least in the short term.

On Sunday February 15th Klixe.com was sold on Digital Point Forums for a sum that was undisclosed to an unknown buyer. The seller, identified as “JTCentral”, was asking for a ‘buy it now’ price of $1,000 - it can be assumed that this was indeed the amount it was sold for.

Klixe is a banner exchange program for arcade websites. According to the sales thread the exchange program has over 220 member websites and the site earns roughly $1,700 per year in revenue. Attempts to reach the buyer for comment went unanswered, however, with the price paid we can assume the exchange program will remain in use.
